AI Growth Beacon

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 5, 2026

AI Growth Beacon ("Beacon," "the Service," "we," "us") is a product of AI Growth Xperts LLC ("AI Growth Xperts," "the Company"). AI Growth Xperts LLC is the legal entity that owns and operates Beacon and is the party to this agreement — throughout this document and everywhere in the product, "Beacon" refers to the service you are using; AI Growth Xperts LLC is who you are contracting with.

[REVIEW] Draft placeholder — needs a real lawyer's pass before Stripe goes live and this becomes binding on paying customers. Everything below states honestly what the product actually does today; it is not lawyer-drafted language.

1. What Beacon does

Beacon is a self-serve tool that helps you find and research local businesses. Specifically:

  • We search Google's Places data for businesses matching your criteria (location, category, rating, and similar filters).
  • When you request enrichment on a specific business, we crawl that business's own public website to look for a business email address, an owner/personal email address, and other published contact information. We only look at pages the business itself has published publicly and that its own robots.txt allows us to access.
  • Where our own crawl doesn't find an email, we may fall back to a third-party email-lookup vendor for the same domain.
  • We check public sources (news, SEC filings) for recent business events — leadership changes, expansions, and similar signals — and use AI to summarize what we find.
  • We offer an AI-generated research summary for a business, built from publicly available information.

We do not sell or provide access to private, non-public data. Everything Beacon surfaces is either licensed data from Google Places or information a business has itself chosen to publish on its own website or in public records.

2. Places data — caching and freshness

Business listing details (name, address, phone, rating, review count, website) come from Google's Places API. We cache this data for up to 30 days before refreshing it from Google again, consistent with Google's own Places Platform terms. This means a business's listed details in Beacon may be up to 30 days old at any given moment. Data you have specifically paid to unlock (an email address, an AI research summary) is retained permanently and is not subject to this 30-day cache — it does not get deleted or refreshed away.

3. Accounts

You must provide a real, working email address and confirm it before you can sign in. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or abusively (for example, creating multiple accounts to bypass free-tier limits).

4. Credits, billing, and refunds

Beacon runs on a credit system. Free, Starter, Growth, and Pro accounts receive a fixed monthly credit allotment; Agency accounts use a pre-paid wallet instead. Each data field you request (a business email, an owner email, a trigger-flag check, and so on) has its own listed credit or dollar cost — there is no bundled "full enrichment" charge.

  • On Free, Starter, Growth, and Pro tiers, you are charged one credit per field you request, whether or not that field is actually found — the same way you'd pay a researcher for the time spent looking, not only for a successful result.
  • On the Agency tier, you are only charged when a field is actually found. A miss costs nothing, and any amount reserved against your wallet for a miss is returned to your balance.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly and can be managed, upgraded, downgraded, or canceled from your account's Billing page at any time via our payment processor's own account portal.
[REVIEW] Refund policy needs a real, lawyer-approved statement here — for example, whether unused monthly credits or wallet balances are refundable on cancellation, and under what circumstances (if any) we'll refund a subscription charge itself. Nothing below should be read as a final refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Beacon to build a competing lead-data or enrichment product.
  • Attempt to circumvent credit charges, rate limits, or per-account usage limits.
  • Create multiple accounts to obtain free-tier credits beyond what a single account is entitled to.
  • Use the contact information Beacon surfaces for unlawful purposes, including in violation of applicable anti-spam or telemarketing law (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA) in your jurisdiction.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-extract Beacon's own underlying data or systems.

6. Accuracy disclaimer

Business data comes from Google Places, business websites, and public records. We do not independently verify the accuracy of this data, and we make no guarantee that any email address, phone number, or other detail is current or correct. AI-generated summaries and research briefs may contain errors — they are a research aid, not verified fact.

7. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal account data (your name, email, company name, and login credentials) at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your access and your personal profile information. Business-level data you enriched (which is stored in a shared cache used to serve other customers more efficiently, and never billed twice to different customers for the same lookup) is not personal to you and may remain in that shared cache after your account is deleted — see the Privacy Policy for how this works.

[REVIEW] Intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law/jurisdiction, and dispute resolution (arbitration clause, if wanted) all need real drafted language here — none of that exists in this placeholder yet.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Beacon after a change means you accept the updated terms.
